“What’s for dinner?“
Dinner will be served family-style by the chef from The Cafe on 27. We will start with salads, then each table will be served steak and/or salmon alongside roasted vegetables. There will also be a house-made mushroom ravioli served in a sherry riduzione.
“Will there be anything else to eat after dinner?“
After dinner, cake will be served and the pizza oven by the lawn will be open and serving personal pizzas as-requested.
“When are we kicked out?“
We have reserved The 1909 venue until 11pm.
“What is the dress code?“
Our guests will be in Cocktail/Summer-Best dress attire.
“Are there any accessibility aids for traversing the venue?“
Our venue is in the Topanga Valley, and navigating between the lawn, ceremony deck, and dance floor can be challenging. Our venue reservation includes a golf cart service that will shuttle guests up and down the hill.
“When we get to the venue, where do we park?“
The1909 has a parking lot adjacent to Topanga Canyon Blvd and the venue itself. Simply follow GPS directions to The1909 and park in the lot you pull into when you arrive. Please leave the handicap-accessible spots by the entrace available for those who need it.
“How cold will it get?“
As a venue in Topanga Valley, there is a sharp cooling effect that occurs after sunset. Although we expect it to be in the 80s Farenheit towards the start of the wedding, expect weather to cool into the high 50s outdoors by the time we’re kicked out.
